With over 21 years of professional experience in various environments, there isn’t much that Paul hasn’t seen in the health and fitness world. He began this life as an athlete himself playing multiple sports growing up, and earning his way onto an eventual D1 National Championship football team as a placekicker. From there he catapulted into the health and fitness industry straight out of college and started coaching full-time. Paul is always looking for a way to better himself and positively impact those around him. His multiple degrees in Exercise Science and Business Marketing provided the foundation for his skill sets as a coach.
As a service-minded leader, Paul has mentored teams of successful coaches in both public and private gyms. He has coached individually and as part of larger programs in D1 athletics, local high schools, private gyms, popular health clubs, parking lots and in-home and virtual settings. His clients have ranged from 8 to 98 years old with abilities varying from “I just received a hip replacement”, to D1 scholarship athletes, to “I hate all exercise”. After taking one look at OAK health club, Paul knew he had to work here. Paul looks forward to helping more people in the OAK community realize their fitness dreams. No matter how impossible or far-fetched they may seem, he’s probably witnessed it come true firsthand.
Paul is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Youth Conditioning Specialist and Weight Management Specialist. His other passion outside of fitness is kicking footballs for sport. Paul is a kicking/punting coach for many local high school and collegiate level footballers in Loudoun and Fairfax counties. He has had the privilege of coaching three all-state kickers in Virginia over the last three years. There is nothing else Paul would rather do for a living than coach others to improve their health and overall situation. A healthier world is a happier world.
More important than work, he is a father of five and husband to his one and only. In his downtime Paul enjoys cooking, woodworking, listening to music, watching movies and playing everything under the sun with his children. He has only lost in one competition to any member of his family. To this day, he swears the table shook during that game of Jenga… but he gave his wife the win regardless. Always thinking of others!
