General Policies

Proper Conduct. We strive to uphold a friendly and welcoming environment. As such, we expect respectful conduct in our facility and our premises at all times. We do not permit disrespectful behavior or conduct toward our members, employees, guests or vendors on our property including but not limited to behavior or conduct that is vulgar, discriminatory, indecent, profane, violent, offensive, aggressive, hostile, harassing, fraudulent, stalking, threatening or otherwise inappropriate.

Physical Examination and Health. By using OAK Health Club’s facilities, activities, equipment or products, or by participating in its services or events, you confirm that you are of reasonable health to safely engage in the use of OAK Health Club and its services as well as in compliance with all required government agency health directives. We strongly encourage all members and guests to consult with a doctor and undergo a complete physical examination prior to the utilization of OAK Health Club and any new fitness or nutritional instruction. OAK Health Club does not provide medical advice.

Accessibility. OAK Health Club is built on the principles of inclusion and respect, and we welcome and support people with disabilities. Service animals and emotional support animals accompanying people with disabilities are permitted on premises as established under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 

Illness, Sickness, Disease or Infection. You are not permitted to continue use of OAK Health Club or its services and will immediately remove yourself from OAK Health Club if you may have been exposed to a person with, or are exhibiting any symptoms associated with a communicable, contagious or otherwise transmissible or transferrable illness, sickness, infection or disease, including, but not limited to, COVID-19, its variants and sub-variants, SARS-CoV-2 or you otherwise pose a health risk to guests, members, team members or the public at large. Please cover any exposed lesions or rashes. 

Cleaning. The health and safety of members and guests is OAK Health Club’s number one priority. As such, we have established various cleaning, disinfecting and hygienic protocols for the maintenance and daily operation of OAK Health Club. However, dangers and risks of injury, sickness, disease, illness and infection remain a possibility when engaging in the use of OAK Health Club and its services. These risks include but are not limited to, exposure to persons or things with a communicable or contagious disease, infection or infectious agents, pathogens, bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi and other health dangers and risks which can cause illness, infection, disease, impairment or other injuries while on the premises.

General Hygiene. We expect all members, guests, team members and vendors to uphold general personal hygiene. Please wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water and/or use hand sanitizer which contains at least 60% alcohol, especially before and after use of equipment or features at OAK Health Club. Please kindly refrain from excessive use of scented lotions, colognes, perfumes or other fragrances out of respect for members, guests or team members who may have sensitivities or allergies to chemicals or fragrances. It is expected that you avoid smelling of smoke of any kind or other fragrant substances while on the premises of OAK Health Club.

Weapons. You are not permitted to possess, display, distribute or use weapons of any kind or utilize any other object designed for other purposes as a weapon to threaten, harm or harass any persons on OAK Health Club’s premises or off the premises for any endorsed, sponsored or OAK Health Club operated programs, classes, activities, seminars, workshops, sessions, assessments, events, or services, for any reason except as otherwise expressly permitted by the law.

Proper Attire. You must wear proper attire at all times while on OAK Health Club premises or its events, including shirts and shoes, unless otherwise noted in a specific area or as appropriate for a specific class or activity.

Lost or Stolen Property. OAK Health Club is not liable or responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property, whether from lockers, vehicles or other locations on the premises. You may inquire at the Front Desk in person regarding any lost articles that may have been found. 

Lockers. Lockers are available for members and guests to store belongings while utilizing OAK Health Club and its services. OAK Health Club lockers have a combination lock, and you are responsible for remembering your locker number and lock combination. Please ensure that your locker is secured before leaving it. You may only use our lockers while you remain on the premises; you are not permitted to leave any personal belongings in a locker overnight. Any items left in lockers overnight will be removed. Please do not store or bring any valuables on the premises. OAK Health Club reserves the right to search all lockers without notice and at our sole discretion.

Age Restriction. You must be at least 13 years of age to enter and use the fitness floor and all OAK Health Club equipment and services. Those ages 13-17 must be supervised by a parent, legal guardian, coach or instructor.

Equipment. It is mandatory to follow all safety procedures and proper handling and usage for all equipment, including but not limited to, the use of safety clips and stops. Please refrain from dropping free weights. Any questions or desired familiarization about equipment use can be directed to our coaches.

Equipment in Disrepair. If you notice any equipment is in disrepair, do not use it and we kindly request you report it to an OAK Health Club team member immediately. We are not responsible for any injuries sustained while using equipment, even in the event of equipment failure, disrepair or malfunction.

Personal Photography and Videography. Photography and videography is allowed only in public areas of OAK Health Club and is not permitted in any locker room, sauna, restroom, spa, or any other private area and must not be disruptive to other persons on premises. Personal photography and videography is limited to pictures of yourself and may not include other members, guests, team members or vendors under any circumstances, except with the prior express consent of the other person. 

Alcohol. You are not permitted to consume alcohol on the premises unless it is purchased from or otherwise provided by OAK Health Club or its food vendor Canopy, and only then in designated areas. You must be of legal drinking age with valid identification to consume alcohol. All persons will be carded prior to purchase of alcoholic beverages, and alcohol must be consumed responsibly and you assume all risks associated with consumption. While under the influence, you may not use OAK Health Club’s equipment or services. OAK Health Club reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone at any time. OAK Health Club, in its sole discretion, may suspend or terminate your membership and privileges due to excessive consumption of alcohol while on our premises, the purchasing of alcohol for underaged members or guests, bringing alcohol into OAK Health Club’s facility or premises or other misuse or improper conduct regarding alcoholic beverages.   

Drugs. You are not permitted to use, possess or sell any illegal drug on the premises, including but not limited to anabolic steroids or other illegal growth-enhancing substances. You may not use our facility, equipment, services or programs while under the influence of illegal drugs. You should not use, or stop using immediately, any equipment, service or program if your prescription, or over-the-counter medication/ herbal remedy or caffeinated energy drink adversely influences or impacts your ability to safely use OAK Health Club’s equipment, facilities, programs, services or events.

Smoking. You are not permitted to smoke, chew, vape or use any other tobacco product or electronic cigarette or marijuana (as allowed in certain states) on OAK Health Club’s premises including any outdoor areas i.e. sidewalks or parking lots, or at any OAK Health Club sponsored, endorsed or organized events.

Damage to OAK Health Club. You may not damage OAK Health Club premises in any way, including but not limited to damage to, or theft of, exercise equipment, towels, supplies, amenities or other OAK Health Club property. You are liable for any damage caused by you or your guest and are responsible for paying for the damage in completion and are subject to termination of membership and or privileges.

No Personal Coaching by Members or Guests. Solicitation is not permitted on the premises nor any personal coaching, with or without compensation. OAK Health Club retains sole discretion to determine whether a member or guest is engaging in personal coaching and thus subject to consequences. 

Services Cancellation Policy. If you cannot attend a scheduled session, a 24-hour notice must be given to OAK Health Club. If you do not attend a scheduled session, and do not give 24-hour advance notice of cancellation, the session will be charged using the card on file. If a session is cancelled by OAK Health Club you will not be charged.

Class Cancellation Policy. If you no-show for three classes within 30 days you will be unable to book a class for the following 30 days

Guest Policy. Members are allowed two guests per month. Any additional guest visits will cost $10 per guest. Any guest that visits more than twice will be charged $10 per visit. The regular non-member guest fee is $20 per visit.

If you violate any of these policies, your OAK Health Club membership, services access or event participation may be suspended or terminated. Our decision on all questions regarding the establishment or interpretation of these policies is final.

OAK Health Club may change these policies at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. You may find the most recent version of these policies at www.oakhealthclub.com. As a member or guest of OAK Health Club, you are responsible and expected to review and comply with these policies at all times.

Club Etiquette

For the comfort of all members, we ask that you follow our club courtesy guidelines. 

Fitness Floor

  • Please turn off, return or replace equipment to its original condition and location when you are not using it, even temporarily.
  • Please wipe down equipment with sanitary wipes after use.
  • Out of consideration for other members, avoid talking on cell phones on the Fitness Floor.
  • While resting between sets, please allow other members to work in.
  • Please be considerate when using equipment and space in facilities.

 

Locker Room

  • Clean up your area after use.
  • Toss used towels in a nearby bin.
  • Conserve resources, limit towels and other available locker amenities.
  • Do not store valuables in your locker.
  • No photography or videography are allowed in the locker rooms.

 

Infrared Sauna

  • Wear proper attire in the sauna.
  • You are not permitted to use the sauna in the nude.  
  • Use towels on seating area.
  • If using bluetooth, please keep music volume and genre respectful.

 

Group Fitness and Rally

  • Please arrive for class a few minutes early to prepare your space or equipment.
  • The warm-up at the onset of class is an important part of the workout. 
  • If you arrive late, please enter the class quietly and appropriately. Late arrivals may or may not be allowed into the class based on the instructor’s discretion.  
  • Classes are designed as group activities, please follow the instructor’s routines or instructions, consistent with your personal abilities and limits.
  • After class, please wipe down and return all equipment to its proper place.
  • The Studio and Performance Center are reserved during class times. Please respect our instructors and members during these times and kindly wait for classes to conclude before utilizing those areas.
